Orbital[1]

Orbital[1] is a completely fixed 4' x 6' Cor10 steel sculpture.  John Goupell, artist and designer, is fixated with forms.  Each one of his sculptures starts with a kernel of an idea(form) and then that seed expands into the art itself. Orbital[1] started with the kernel of the orbital oval piece then multiplied and shifted to the sculpture you see.  

Sandblasted and patinaed to give a full rusted finish.  Orbital[1] was then clear coated with a two part epoxy for full durability and definition.  A rubber pad is glued to the base.  Orbital[1] is great feature in any yard, lawn, or garden.  Best to be anchored to a concrete pad that is 3-4' in diameter with concrete wedge anchors.  (4) 3/4" holes are drilled in the base to accommodate for these anchors.  Orbital[1] is currently on exhibit at the Czech Village Rotating Sculpture Park.  Available July 2027.
