Lake Superior Bench

This commissioned bench has traveled far to Lake Superior in northern Michigan to find it's final resting place.  Designing a bench for such a rough climate, we reclaimed forged iron gates and spliced them into a new framework for the legs of this bench.  Meanwhile, we used Ipe wood, from South America, for the wooden slats.  After being powder coated, this bench will be able to withstand the tough winters but also will be comfortable for many a lakeside sunset.  This ended up being a one of kind job with custom cup holders.  Looking forward to working on a complimentary table in the near future.
